I began the openid protocol implementation in XOOPS. OpenID is an open, decentralized, free framework for user-centric digital identity.

With this protocol you don't need to sign up every time you want to connect and register on a openid enabled website.
You identity is stored on a openid server on which you can manage your identity options.
