Some time ago I've planned to develop the LDAP Group authentication for XOOPS. Nevertheless due to lack of time I've never made this development.

What do you think when you talk of LDAP Group authentication? because this sort of auth is not so easy than LDAP user authentication.

Your LDAP-SQL synchronizing is to synchronize your existing LDAP to XOOPS database, i suppose. If you want tosyncrhonize all your database in one time you have to develop a specific script to do this, otherwise you can use the native provisioning XOOPS functionnality.

I don't undertand this sentence.

Can you detail your project in the detail and you can contact me by email throw this link http://www.xoopspro.com/modules/contact

In fact xplorer is based on another product and has been integrated in XOOPS. Nevertheless it doesn't follow the XOOPS theme structure.
So you have to customize some files inside the xplorer module.

Ok, dumb question. I want to edit the look of the XPLORER MODULE and add logo's in the corner and some additional information to display at the top of the main page of the module. Its rather generic and would like to make it look more in line with the overall theme of the site.

What files do I need to edit in this to do it? I did not see a theme file or anything in the templet folder resembling a theme file unless im missing it hidden in one of the php files.

Thanks

We have LDAP-based user authentication in PM\Groupware with many users and groups.
Now we Integrate Xoops in our webspace and already use Xoops LDAP Auth for users authentication, but LDAP-SQL synchronizing is unsuitable for our (and many users) needs.

In addition, we want to use LDAP groups for Xoops.

So, it's good to have full-LDAP authentication with users and groups stored in LDAP storage

Best regards, Eugene Istomin.

Can you detail your needs?
Do you want to synchronize LDAP groups with Xoops Groups?
Do you want to authenticate a user by its belonging to a group?

I don't suppose you could give us a little bitty hint as to when this might come to pass? Just whisper it. We promise we won't tell anyone.
